FAQ About Dental Implants

Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into your jawbone that act like natural tooth roots. When healed and fused to the bone, they permanently support a dental crown or bridge, or full set of new teeth.

We make your dental implant treatment affordable through third-party financing, including Proceed Finance and CareCredit®. We’ll also assist you in filing any insurance claims.

Schedule a consultation with our implant specialists. Most likely, with our expertise and technology, you’ll qualify for dental implants, even if your case is severe or you are medically compromised.

We have an experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon on-site who completes all our dental implant surgeries alongside our anesthesiologist. Oral surgeons have achieved the highest level of surgical training and are experts in dental surgeries, including tooth extractions and bone grafting.

No, with our custom anesthesia options, your surgery will be comfortable and pain-free. A trained anesthesiologist is present for every surgery to ensure the highest level of safety during your procedure.

Yes, we are a fully digital implant center and use the most advanced dental technology available, including CBCT imaging, Zirkonzahn® Face Hunter and milling system, 3Shape TRIOS® intraoral camera, PiC digital impression camera, and 3D printing. We offer fully digital smile transformations in a single location.

We attach a temporary tooth or teeth on the day of your surgery. You’ll leave our office with temporary teeth that are functional and attractive.

Your surgery, as well as your consultation and all other restorative and follow-up appointments, will be completed in our state-of-the-art implant center in Phoenix, AZ, where we also have a fully equipped in-house dental lab. We don’t outsource any patient cases and don’t refer patients to specialists for any treatment.

Most patients can return to normal activities immediately or the day after surgery. If any discomfort or swelling occurs, over-the-counter pain medication is often all that’s needed.

Our treatment is in three phases: consultation and treatment planning, surgery and attachment of a temporary, and attachment of the permanent restoration. In most cases, this can happen in three appointments or less over the course of a few months.

Dental implants are the closest thing to healthy natural teeth. You can expect them to feel strong and stable in your mouth, bring back over 98 percent of function, and look completely natural when you talk and smile. In short, you will experience a complete transformation in your health, smile, confidence, and quality of life!

You’ll care for your dental implants much like you do (or did) your natural teeth. Brush twice daily and floss or use a Waterpik® at least once a day. Maintain hygiene appointments every six months and refrain from smoking or tobacco use.
